Resolve the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict
The US should use its substantial influence to be a neutral broker for an Israeli/Palestinian settlement. Since majorities of both Palestinans and Israelis still support the international consensus for a two-state solution based on the 1967 borders, the US should support a resolution on that basis and, if necessary, stop US aid to Israel and redirect it to reconstruction in Lebanon and the Palestinian territories until Israel ends its military attacks and occupations on Arab lands. The US should support international guarantees and enforcement of equal human rights and security for all Palestinians and Israelis in a negotiated settlement.
