I just donated to Howie’s campaign and will be volunteering for him! He really knows Syracuse and is invested in helping improve life for our residents.
One other comment: maybe I am just too soft, but “Tax the Rich” sounds a little combative to me. I guess it’s hard to find a good slogan that captures the idea of the rich contributing more to infrastructure, education, and other needed services through taxes. This kind of taxation makes a lot more sense than raising property taxes everywhere to fund Syracuse’s budget deficit, for instance!
