Hillary Clinton may be a woman, but Howie Hawkins is a feminist.

I support bringing our troops home now, a national health insurance plan for all through a single public payer, access to safe and legal abortion and full reproductive freedom for all women, and marriage equality. Cindy Sheehan has endorsed me.
Hillary Clinton continues to support the war in Iraq, opposes national health insurance, concedes the ideological ground to the anti-choice right by calling abortion a “tragedy,” and opposes the legalization of same-sex marriages. Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News, held a fundraiser for Clinton.
Women still earn only 70 percent of men's wages for equal jobs. I support comparable pay for work of comparable worth. I oppose the feminization of poverty. We must increase the minimum wage to a living wage, increase welfare benefits, and expand childcare, including Head Start for all who want it.
I support strong environmental protection, including the closure of nuclear power plants; the phase out of pesticides; and an emergency transition program to replace fossil fuels with clean, renewable energy sources to curb global warming.
